Young-Williams Animal Center

Young-Williams Animal Center serves as the municipal shelter of the City of Knoxville and Knox County. The shelter takes in more than 9,000 lost, unwanted, abandoned and neglected animals each year and depends on animal lovers and fundraisers to provide the best quality of life while these pets are in the shelter’s care. The center promotes the responsible care and welfare of animals, including public education, sheltering services, adoption services and veterinary care including spaying and neutering.

At Young-Williams Animal Center, our mission is to lead the community to end pet homelessness, promote animal welfare and enhance the human-animal bond.

Young-Williams Animal Center is a Charity participating in the NASCAR Day Giveathon 2023 a Giving Day event, presented by The NASCAR Foundation.
