The Black Sports Business Academy

The Black Sport Business Academy (The BSBA) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization and national network of Black and Brown professionals on a mission to enhance the learning experience and career outcomes for students at Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) who are interested in breaking into the sports & entertainment industry.

The vision of the Black Sport Business Academy is to build on the legacy of HBCU culture by increasing the presence and impact of HBCU graduates working in the sports industry. We aim to collaborate with the talent development ecosystem within sports to create sustainable relationships that change the way our industry engages with HBCUs.

The mission of The Black Sport Business Academy is to enhance the learning experience and career outcomes for students at HBCUs who want to break into the world of sports & entertainment.

The Black Sports Business Academy is a Charity participating in the NASCAR Day Giveathon 2023 a Giving Day event, presented by The NASCAR Foundation.
