Mission: To promote animal welfare and to provide for the rescue, rehabilitation and placement of animals which have been abandoned, mistreated, injured, or are otherwise in need.
Maggie's Mission started with a dream to help dogs and horses. In the almost decade since it's forming, it has blossomed into an organization that helps so many, from the largest equine to the tiniest critters.
Maggie's Mission became a 501c3 non-profit animal rescue in 2014. Since then, we have rescued and placed thousands of dogs, cats, horses, donkeys, bunnies, guinea pigs and more into loving new homes.
We are a 100% volunteer organization, with countless volunteers who handle everything from fostering animals, to reviewing applications, walking dogs, planning fundraisers, riding horses, and all the other behind the scenes work that goes into finding all these animals their forever homes.
Maggie's Mission is known for taking many that others can't or won't - the old, the abused, the injured, the neglected, the forgotten, the discarded.
The equine we pull are almost exclusively pulled from slaughter bound trucks or kill pens. We believe in letting all of these animals live out their lives as they deserve, knowing love and happiness.
We fully rely on the generous donations of our supporters to help us save these lives. We are forever grateful to our amazing community who believes in our mission.
Maggies Mission Rescue is a Charity participating in the NASCAR Day Giveathon 2023 a Giving Day event, presented by The NASCAR Foundation.
