Humane Society Of Wilkes

The Humane Society of Wilkes has been helping homeless pets since 1996. We don't have our own animal shelter, yet. Our volunteers work closely with the personnel at the Wilkes County Animal Shelter to help get as many pets as possible adopted. We also have a number of foster homes that provide a safe haven for pets, until they can find their forever home. One of our major goals is to build our own no-kill shelter, and we are currently in the planning stages and fundraising to make this a reality. We need your help!

The Humane Society of Wilkes is an independent, 501(c)(3), volunteer organization dedicated to reducing the number of homeless, unwanted, and neglected companion animals in Wilkes County, NC. We support pet owners and prospective owners with programs that promote adoption and spay/neuter and services that provide information and resources to the community.

Humane Society Of Wilkes is a Charity participating in the NASCAR Day Giveathon 2023 a Giving Day event, presented by The NASCAR Foundation.
