First United Food Pantry

We are a faith-based food pantry in Flint, Michigan that provides hope and help to our neighbors in need.

Our church and community volunteers provide free food and clothing to 20,000 visitors each year. The clothing closet provides all sizes of adult and children's clothes and the pantry gives canned and fresh food products, such as meat, dairy, bread, and produce, if available.

This year we are starting a community garden to supplement food donations, which fluctuate based on price and supply chain availability. We want to raise $10,000 to build a greenhouse for a safe place to cultivate fruits and vegetables and extend the growing season. The produce from the greenhouse would provide an additional source of food and nutrition for families who would otherwise not have access to it.

Our pantry runs on only donations from local stores and the food bank. Your financial support ensures that your neighborhood can continue to have food and healthy produce this summer.

As the servants of Christ, we will demonstrate love in our community by serving anyone in need with food and clothing.
