Donkey Dreams Sanctuary

Help us fulfill Ralphie's dream of being the fastest donkey at Donkey Dreams. To be the fastest donkey you have to train and make sure you have plenty of food and water for training. We are raising $4000 for a water back-up system so Ralphie and his 24 donkey friends at Donkey Dreams Sanctuary never go without water. And to make sure that Ralphie has plenty of water for his training.

Donkey Dreams was birthed in our hearts when we realized some donkeys desire to roam open spaces with their families, have a special place to call their forever home and to interact with humans at their leisure. While we primarily exist to give donkeys who have been displaced from their original homes their best life, we also exist to make the world a better place, one donkey and human interaction at a time. We believe donkeys have an amazing ability to make you feel loved, accepted and worthy. It’s been our observation that when people interact with donkeys they have an increased sense of well-being, kindness and compassion.

Mission: Provide donkeys a forever home so they feel seen, cherished and loved for the rest of their lives (which can be up to 50 years). Offer human and donkey experiences to facilitate an exchange of love, joy and peace. 

Vision: To offer wild burros who have been displaced in public land round-ups, donkeys who are not suited for adoption, senior donkeys and special needs donkeys a forever home aligned with the lifestyle they are accustomed to i.e. wild burros have large open spaces to roam. To improve the well being of our community by providing evolutionary donkey experiences (one-on-one connections, behavioral observation and interaction).
