Easing the burden for food insecure individuals and families in our community and beyond.
Corning Community Food pantry has been faithfully serving our neighbors in need since 1973. Please help give us a financial boost before the summer months, when giving is typically low. Unfortunately, hunger in our community doesn't take a vacation, so we appreciate your support.
Each year, we distribute over 100 tons of food to thousands of people in need. But visitors receive more than just groceries. The Corning Community Food Pantry offers dignity and respect. It doesn’t matter what brings a person through our doors. It only matters that they leave with the food they need, served with compassion.
We provide groceries to fill in the gaps for food-insecure individuals and families—enough for 5-7 days. Although direct donations of non-perishable foods are helpful, monetary contributions give us the flexibility to purchase nutritious foods such as milk, eggs, yogurt, fresh fruits and vegetables.
Our all-volunteer staff also offers other necessities to our neighbors in need such as personal care items, laundry detergent, diapers and dish soap, along with additional support.
Corning Community Food Pantry is a partner agency of the Food Bank of the Southern Tier. More information is available at our website, corningfoodpantry.com.
