Fuel Pets' Futures!
Her story may have started a little ruff, but when Sheba arrived at the Connecticut Humane Society, she was ready for a new lap in life. Thankfully, Sheba and the thousands of pets served at CHS have friends like you to guide her around the next turn.
Right now, this lovable 3-year-old Lab-Rottie mix is gearing up for a new start. Ever since she was brought to CHS to find a new home, she's been getting lots of squeaky toy time, working on her fitness with short bursts of outdoor fun, and winning hearts with her sweet personality. Like every pet who arrives, Sheba has been medically and behaviorally assessed and treated so that she can put her best paw forward when she finds a new family.
And just like Connecticut has been home to some of racing’s greats—from Joey Logano in Middletown to Anthony Alfredo in Ridgefield—CHS has been home base for thousands of pets like Sheba, delivering the medical care, behavioral support, and love needed to get them across the finish line to home. (Last year, over 130 pets were served from Middletown and Ridgefield alone!)
From facilitating affordable veterinary care to providing social services that connect pet owners with the tools they need to succeed, it's pet-lovers like you who make it all possible.
Thanks to the NASCAR Foundation’s 27 Hours of Giving, you can support pets like Sheba and be part of a long tradition of Connecticut excellence, both on and off the track.
Please, make a gift to put more pets on the fast track to brighter futures!
