Find Your Charity To Get Started
To be eligible to participate in the NASCAR Day Giveathon non-profit organizations must be a qualified as a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) public charity. Priority will be given to charities that reside within a 100-mile radius of NASCAR sanctioned track venues.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
In order to make the process easier, please gather ALL required documents and information BEFORE starting your registration. In addition to basic information about your organization, its mission, and key contacts, please be prepared to provide:
- Your organization's IRS Determination Letter
- Your organization's EIN number
- If your EIN/nonprofit is already in the system, you will not be able to use this inquiry form and need to log into your existing account. For assistance, contact support@fanthem.io.
- Your organization's most current year of completed financials such as the Form 990, Form 990-EZ, etc.
All nonprofit organizations must acknowledge the following:
- Adherence to all terms and services.
- Acknowledgment that we will make a one-time net proceeds disbursement to you within 60 days of the close of the Event via ACH payout to your connected Stripe account on file.
- Your disbursement will consist of seventy-five percent (75%) of the total amount of donations made for the benefit of your organization through the Platform. You agree that the remaining twenty-five percent (25%) of the total amount of donations made will be used to pay all credit card processing fees, platform fees, marketing and incentives. No additional fees will be billed to or paid by the non-profit organization.
In order to maximize each nonprofit's fundraising success, you must be willing to do the following:
- Actively participate in the campaign.
- Promote the campaign to your existing audiences who support your organization.
- Communicate thru a variety of marketing outlets including but not limited to social media, emails, newsletters, etc.
- Solicit board members, donors, clients and/or other supporters of your non-profit.
- Participate in two of three webinars. (This can be done during live sessions or by watching recorded webinars at later date.)
We will review the information submitted to ensure your organization is a qualified 501(c)(3). If your organization is approved to participate, you will receive an email confirmation inviting you to login, connect your Stripe account and finish creating your profile!
Important Note: We reserve the right, in our sole discretion and for any reason, to decline to permit any organization, regardless of its current 501(c)(3) status, to participate in the NASCAR Day Giveathon.
Email Reminder: We encourage you to use a 'name specific' or 'unique' email address and not a 'generic' email (for example: admin@, info@, events@, director@). Why? Our email system (MailChimp) will not send communication to these types of addresses and you will miss out on pertinent information you need to be successful with the NASCAR Day Giveathon fundraising.
