North Fork Breast Health Coalition Inc

The organization was founded to administer funds for environmental, scientific & educational purposes as they relate to causes of cancer & to promote early detection the organization provides education, information, referral assistance,patient advocacy and support groups

The NFBHC works to encourage and assist in the prevention, early intervention, and cure of breast cancer through advocacy, awareness, networking, and direct services. The funds we raise go directly to programs such as Lend a Helping Hand, which provides grants to patients in our area who are being treated for breast cancer; and the Keri Lynn Stromski Stage IV Breast Cancer Research & Support Fund, which provides grants to patients who receive a metastatic diagnosis, as well as doctors & researchers targeting Stage IV treatments; as well as providing free services, including yoga, massage, reflexology, strength training, and acupuncture; and free products through the Rita Duva Boutique which provides wigs, scarves, prosthetics, and other items. We are an all volunteer board and all the funds raised stay in our community.
