Serving Franklin County and surrounding communities
Since 1999 Franklin County Humane Society has provided care to more than 28,000 animals at the adoption center. More than 76,000 animals have been spayed/neutered at FCHS’s Planned Pethood Clinic which opened in 2000.
We take in most of the animals in need in our community, but do not receive any government funding. We rely on support from people like you who believe in the value of an animal's life or believe in the value of what we do to help animals every day. We take in all animals in need and provide care for animals that have been hit by cars, shot, tossed into dumpsters and animals that have been abused, neglected or abandoned and left to fend for themselves. We take in dogs that are heartworm positive and puppies that are ill with parvovirus and provide treatment and care. We take in all breeds, all ages and all conditions and we never give up on them.
Our mission is to create a community where all dogs and cats get a chance for a healthy and happy life in a loving home by promoting rescue, adoption, and spay/neuter.
Franklin County Humane Society Inc is a Charity participating in the NASCAR Day Giveathon 2024 a Giving Day event, presented by The NASCAR Foundation.
