Every Kid Rides Project

Our founders, Carli and Shannon saw a great need in the community when their kiddos fell in love with riding bicycles and didn't have anywhere to go. That's when the work started to build the SteelWorx Pump Track and The Every Kid Rides Project was born. In late 2024 we completed the SteelWorx Pump Track and were able to give away 71 brand new bicycles over the holiday season. In addition, we distributed almost 100 helmets, bicycle lights, and other safety equipment. We are so excited to be able to continue building riding spaces and give bikes to kids in need for many years to come.

The Every Kid Rides Project is a nonprofit organization, based in Lewistown, PA devoted to empowering children through the activities of cycling. We have been steadfast in our mission, since our inception.

Our Mission

1. To encourage the passion for cycling among youngsters, irrespective of their socio-economic conditions.
2. Create safe and accessible riding spaces for our youths to explore and grow.
3. Provide an open platform for promoting proficiency and lifelong safety skills.
4. Motivate personal development, build confidence, and encourage healthy habits through cycling.

A cohesive community from all parts of Central PA and beyond, we maintain an open environment that welcomes every kid irrespective of his or her level of cycling proficiency.

Why Support Every Kid Rides:

With online donations and support from benevolent benefactors, Every Kid Rides continues to pave the groundwork for every child to ride. Every contribution is vital to bring about a crucial evolution in a child's life. We ensure that this is true with the following activities:

1. Distribution of safety gear and training aids.
2. Regular workshops and seminars on road safety and performing repairs and maintenance.
3. Organizing community bicycle rides to encourage unity and inclusivity.
