Quality Healthcare for "Evara"one!
The Evara Health Foundation was established as a not-for-profit charitable organization devoted to supporting Evara Health in providing comprehensive healthcare services and programs to individuals in need. Rooted in compassion and driven by a commitment to excellence, we strive to uplift communities and empower individuals through accessible healthcare solutions.
A HISTORY OF CARING:
Formerly known as Community Health Centers of Pinellas, Evara Health was founded in 1980 under the visionary leadership of Dr. Johnnie Ruth Clarke, the first African American woman to earn her PhD from the University of Florida’s College of Education. Dr. Clarke's legacy drives our commitment to serving underserved communities. In 1985, we inaugurated our inaugural health center, the Johnnie Ruth Clarke (JRC) Health Center, on the grounds of Lakeview Presbyterian Church.
We later relocated to the historic Mercy Hospital in St. Petersburg, reopening as a state-of-the-art facility on February 2, 2004.
Today, we continue to provide affordable primary healthcare services to underserved communities across Pinellas County, guided by Dr. Clarke’s spirit of compassion, innovation, and advocacy.
Evara Health’s mission is to provide quality health care for all.
To innovate beyond the barriers that limit access to quality healthcare, ensuring everyone can receive industry-leading services from professional teams that care as much as family.
Evara Health Foundation is a Charity participating in the NASCAR Day Giveathon 2024 a Giving Day event, presented by The NASCAR Foundation.
